springs can be fitted directly on cylinderhead, use solid shims to adjust spring load if required

double spring PAC-D19864 recommended over 8000rpm (in combination with upper retainer 99391/s and lower retainer 99537). Check valve seal clearance.

valve seal needs to be lowered for valve lift >11.0mm

- camshafts for use in BDE (2.8L) engines with VVT sprocket on intake and exhaust

- ONLY for replacement of OE part number combination "022 109 102A" (intake) + "022 109 101C" (exhaust)

- camshaft installation position: intake at full retard / exhaust at full retard

- front cylinders (2-4-6) have long duration intake / short duration exhaust profiles

- rear cylinders (1-3-5) have short duration intake / long duration exhaust profiles

This is a very complex engine. The camshafts should only be fitted by experienced professionals who have the tools, skills and patience for correct installation, verification and adjustment of the timing events and all related parts.
